Participate in client meetings to determine the scope of work, design, objectives, limitations, and criteria that meet clients' requirements for new construction, alteration, renovation and restoration projects. Field measure site conditions. Create designs, site drawings and plans for projects. Create architectural renderings, including 3D renderings, of projects. Research applicable zoning, codes and materials. Present analyses to clients of how projects will comply with local, state and federal regulations. Prepare architectural constructions documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, structural and electrical plans. Research appropriate building materials and present solutions to clients based on performance criteria, FEMA and Building Code guidelines, program requirements and budget. Requires Bachelor's in Architecture and 24 months experience as an Architect or Architectural Drafter, including 24 months using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, V-Ray, Adobe Photoshop & Illu...
