ZH Architects is an award winning architecture firm looking for a motivated Intermediate Project Architect with 4-5 years of NYC experience. The position will require the ability to synthesize sustainable building practices with a modern design aesthetic. A strong knowledge of exterior detailing for new construction and masonry restoration will be required. We seek someone who is interested in working in a collaborative environment and is confident working directly with clients, managing projects through all stages of construction, and teaching and managing junior staff. Our current body of work includes both single and multifamily residential passive house projects located in NY, NJ, and CT in various stages of the design and construction. We also are working with the city on the renovation of a shelter on the LES. Passive House knowledge a plus. Salary and benefits will be competitive and based on skill level.
