Canvas Works seeking Administrator / Junior Designer in New York, NY, US

We are looking for a new member of our design team. This position will start out as primarily administrative and organizational but has the possibility to become more involved in the design portion of our work.We are an in-house design department for a family Estate, working on all components of their private and commercial holdings. Our work encompasses both architecture, interior design, and landscape. Our projects are about a 70/30 split between the residential and commercial spaces.Job Requirements:• Support design team with day-to-day tasks and special projects.• Assist with sourcing furnishing, fabrics, materials & finishes.• Obtain price quotes and product specs from vendors.• Liaise with external vendors to ensure that purchases, returns, and deliveries are handled appropriately and in a timely manner, as well as maintain the highest quality product.• Procurement of home goods and decorative items – oversee installation as needed.• Maintain clear records and receipts of orde...
