Start your professional future in an international environment! Show your talent and creativity. The Istituto Europeo di Design - IED Barcelona - invites students and professionals from all over the world to participate in the IED Design Talent Scholarships Contest 2022.
The school offers 13 (thirteen) international scholarships in Design, Fashion, Visual Arts, and Management 2022/2023 academic year for its university degree (Bachelor's Degrees, Ba (Hons) and Diplomas Courses - English and Spanish) in Barcelona.
The scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fee.
Participation is open to individuals of any nationality, of at least 16 years of age (who hold a baccalaureate or high school diploma or who are finishing these studies or equivalent during the 2021/22 academic year).
Candidates will be required to put forward ideas and projects under the theme "HYBRID INNOVATION" and develop a project based on the following questions: Who are the great masters of design who used hybridization as a tool for innovation? Which is their most evocative project, able to break the rules and create a new reality? How do they inspire your creative practice? Identify a great master of design connected with the specific undergraduate course you’re interested in.
The work must be submitted in a digital format with a description thereof in the language in which the course is held. A Selection Committee will award the scholarships to the best projects. The deadline is 5th April 2022 at 11:59 p.m.

Since 1966, Istituto Europeo di Design has been providing academic training in the disciplines of Design, Fashion, Visual Arts, Communication, and Management at its centers in Milan, Rome, Florence, Turin, Venice, Cagliari, Como, Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro. Since its opening, more than 130,000 students have graduated and every year it attracts more than 10,000 students from all over the world. IED focuses on organizing teaching projects and traineeships linked to corporate reality and has signed more than 1,000 business agreements over its 50 years of experience.
The IED Barcelona campus is in the district of Gràcia. Since 2002 it became consolidated as one of the most important schools in design training and was recognized as a School of Higher Studies in Design by the regional government of Catalonia (Generalitat de Catalunya), offering Undergraduate Degrees in Product Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design, and Graphic Design, in addition to university diplomas (IED Diplomas) in Management for Creative Industries, Bachelors of Arts (Honours) validated by the University of Westminster, masters and postgraduates courses, continuing study programs and summer courses, that every year draws in nearly 1,000 students from more than 100 different countries, thanks to the school's multicultural and interdisciplinary environment.
