Overview: Nwankpa Design is searching for a full-time contract position for a senior interior designer with a strong architectural background. The position is a 6-12 month project lead position with potential for longer term collaboration. This is a primarily work-from-home position with flexible scheduling, but applicants must be located in the greater Los Angeles area to attend in-person meetings and site visits. This is a full-time contract position and prior experience working between interior design and architecture is needed. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate seamlessly from the larger architectural problem to an intimate furnishing detail. A minimum of 4 years of experience with high-end single-family custom homes is mandatory. Experience with commercial, cultural, and hospitality projects is a plus.
