We are looking for a furniture designer to join our team. Cross over candidates are welcome. Maybe you're an architect and want to try something else, or you're an experienced product or furniture designer looking for a new gig. We need enthusiastic, talented problem solvers who know Rhino inside and out. OTTRA by Zimmerman Workshop is an award winning wood furniture design and manufacturing company based in Red Hook Brooklyn. We operate side by side with our Architecture and Design Studio – Zimmerman Workshop. We are looking for a hungry designer who is skilled and able to jump right in. We need an expert at Rhino, Autocad and the Adobe suite who requires no software training. We need someone who can take a concept sketch and run with it. CNC programing will be required as well as occasional operating support. At times you may be asked to operate the CNC machines depending on work load.
