Robert Young Architects seeking Junior Architectural Designer (remote position)
Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for an immediate opening at Robert Young Architects as a Junior Architectural Designer. Junior Architectural Designers at RYA contribute to all aspects of projects from conception through owner move in. Junior designers are assigned tasks in the context of the big picture project goals and are expected to increase their responsibility, ownership and autonomy over time. Prerequisites for the position include a passion for design and problem solving, a commitment to build well in the real world, exacting standards of self and others, and above all, a growth mindset. Qualified candidates should have, at minimum: 2 years post graduate professional experience, preferably in a small to medium sized firm focused on private residential projects for exacting clients.
