SHELTERWERK seeking Project Architect (7-12 Years Experience) in Oakland, CA, US

We are seeking a talented Project Architect to join our creative team.  In this role you will be responsible for day-to-day management of projects from start of design through construction on small-moderate sized residential and commercial projects. This is a full-time position. QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of an accredited architectural school with a minimum of 7-12 years diverse experience in the United States--at least three of which in California. Good written and oral communication skills in English; additional languages (esp. conversational Spanish) a plus. EXPERIENCE Background in residential and/or commercial architecture; interior design experience a plus. Experience in design development and presentation documents. Understanding of coordination with building systems, e.g. MEP & Structural. Ability to interpret plans and specifications.
