Sustainable student design projects distinguished with AIA/ACSA COTE Top Ten for Students
Ten architectural projects exemplifying high marks in social, economic, and ecological design key points were announced as winners of the AIA's 2020 Committee on the Environment (COTE) Top Ten Awards this morning. In conjunction with the professional award program, the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) also selected the COTE Top Ten for Students in recognition of sustainability-minded design in an academic studio context. The winning projects aim for carbon-neutral footprints through daylighting, passive heating and cooling systems, sustainable materials, water conservation, energy generation among other sustainable systems.
