The School of Architecture was formally initiated by Frank Lloyd Wright as the Taliesin Fellowship in 1932 to provide a total learning environment that would foster responsible, creative and cultured human beings. Apprentices, as members of the Fellowship were called, gained experience not only in architecture but also in construction, farming, gardening and cooking, and the study of nature, music, art and dance. Today, the School offers the Master of Architecture (M.Arch) and Master of Science of Architecture (MS.Arch) degrees through one of the most unique educational experiences available in higher education. The Director of Admissions is a remote hybrid position that manages the student recruitment and enrollment process from inquiry to matriculation.
