The Theater of the Academic Process

The Samara interuniversity IT Campus is another project by Studio 44, akin to the Nizhny Novgorod campus, executed under the same program. The architects integrate the buildings into the already existing giant arc on the site, interpreting the core of the campus as a vast amphitheater. Perhaps, among the series of campuses developed by Studio 44, this one achieves the most cohesive volumetric composition, retaining the advantages of flexible space organization that balances on the edge between freedom and responsibility, as well as openness and inner strength – qualities so relevant to the IT sphere.
