YMD Studio Inc seeking Intermediate Architect in Brooklyn, NY, US

Intermediate Architect/Project Designer YMD Studio, Inc. is a small firm with a variety of residential projects ranging from loft spaces and co-op apartments to brownstone renovations. The applicant should be capable of handling all aspects of a renovation from the planning stages, design and implementation, through construction and DOB sign off. We are looking for a Project Architect or Designer who is interested in being independent and motivated to keep projects on schedule and create positive relationships with the project team. The majority of our job sites are in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Construction experience with pre-war buildings, turn of the century townhouses and victorian houses is helpful.   Qualifications: Bachelor or Masters degree in Architecture5-8 years of experience in architecture and buildingAbility to produce a full set of drawings from Schematics through Construction Drawings, including DOB and LPC filing setsAbility to manage client relations, project budgets...
