Interdisciplinary design studio specializing in museum, cultural and education projects is seeking a Senior Architect to join as Studio Director and oversee the technical aspects of their New York office. Responsibilities Reporting directly to the COO and CEO the Studio Director will have responsibility for: Operations, including HR, finance and IT Allocation of staff resourcing to projects Employee performance reviews Defining project deliverables and managing project billings Implementation of best practice for project management and project delivery Tracking office budgets and profitability QA/QC of projects to ensure compliance with code/scope of works/brief Oversight and execution of all contracts Representing the firm to the client in negotiating contracts, conflict resolution and satisfaction Experience and Skills Bachelor’s or Master's of Architecture Degree Must be NY licensed architect 12+ years of professional experience Significant experience in the successful delivery of projects Pr...
