Position Description: We are in search of a talented professional to join our collective as a Project Manager to serve as a municipal consultant for the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) Streetscape and Sustainable Design Program. This position is responsible for managing streetscape design projects from beginning to end. Primary project activities would include: Manage schedules and budgets for multiple projects;Oversee consultants in producing designs, presentations, construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates;Review plans and oversee quality control process for streetscape design projects;Coordinate with consultants, elected officials, and City staff;Conduct or attend public meetings and presentations;Administer and observe streetscape construction projects, respond to contractor questions or RFIs, and review submittals for adherence to design intent; and,Prepare grant applications.Schedule and Travel: Typical work hours occur Monday through Friday betw...
